Baked Asparagus Sticks

Picture & pecipe adapted from here
Ok, so I'm going to be a little offside here and talk about pee. I cannot for the life of me figure out the answer to this question so if you have any knowledge on this topic please enlighten me.  I've heard time and time again that asparagus makes urine smell. This has never happened to me or my husband so I only know this because people have told me. So tell me this --- is because our urine doesn't actually smell, or because we are unable to detect the smell of the urine?!? WEIRD!

Now that we've all lost our appetite here is a recipe I found on Pinterest for Baked Asparagus Sticks.  We've been eating a ton of the green stuff since we have an asparagus farm down the road from us and the in-laws have a huge garden filled with it so I wanted to come up with a few different ways to serve it. These turned out delicious and can be eaten with your hands - score!

Ingredients
1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
1/4 cup flour
2 eggs, lightly beaten
3/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/4 cup parmigiano reggiano (parmesan), grated
salt and pepper to taste (I added steak spice as well)

Method
Coat asparagus in the flour, dip in the egg and then into a mixture of the panko, parmesan, salt and pepper. Place the asparagus in a single layer on a wire rack on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated 425F oven until golden brown, about 9 minutes.
